Lisa received her associate degree in Applied Science from Gateway Community & Technical College, and partook in the Gateway to NKU Program where she then received her undergraduate degree in Social Work and a micro-credential in Forensic Social Work. Lisa has been accepted into the advanced standing Masters of Social Work program at Northern Kentucky University where she will go for her LCSW and get her certification to teach on a college level. 

Lisa's experience in social work started with her doing case management in a family homeless shelter, and she has also had experience doing social work in a school setting for the district of Newport KY. Lisa is a fierce advocate for underserved, marginalized populations and uses her free time to volunteer in different settings that assist these populations of people. 


Lisa enjoys writing non-fiction in her free time and hopes to one day become a published author.
